Since 2005, the Women Development Centre (WDC) has been committed to empowering school dropout girls by providing them with opportunities to continue and complete their education through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Over the years, this initiative has transformed the lives of many young girls by helping them regain access to education and build a brighter future.
During the academic year 2025–26, despite facing various challenges, the students demonstrated remarkable perseverance and dedication, achieving commendable results in their final examinations. At the Secondary level, 29 students appeared for the examination, of whom 27 successfully passed. Similarly, at the Senior Secondary level, 15 students appeared, and 12 students passed with success.
These encouraging results are a testament to the hard work, determination, and resilience of the students, as well as the continuous support, guidance, and mentorship provided by WDC. The achievement is a matter of great pride for the organization and reinforces its commitment to empowering girls through education, creating opportunities for personal growth, and enabling them to become confident and self-reliant members of society.
