Empowering Young Minds: Career Counselling and Life Skills Programme at WDC

Choosing a career is not just about finding a job—it is about understanding oneself, recognizing one’s potential, making informed choices, and having the confidence to move forward. With this focus, Women Development Centre (WDC), Joypur, Kharghuli, Guwahati, organized a two-day Career Counselling and Life Skills Programme on 28–29 July 2026, creating a space for young people to reflect, learn, explore, and envision their future.
A total of 66 youth participants took part in the programme over the two days, along with CFS Motivators, interns, and WDC staff. The programme combined career guidance with practical life-skills activities, encouraging participants to actively engage in discussions, exercises, and self-reflection.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
