Felicitation Ceremony for HSLC Candidates

On 24th April 2026, the Women Development Centre (WDC), Joypur, Kharguli, organized a Felicitation Ceremony to honour 60 HSLC candidates for their hard work and academic achievements. The programme was attended by students, parents, field staff, and WDC office staff.
The event began with a welcome address by Sr. Betsy, Director, WDC, who emphasized the importance of education and perseverance. Sr. Silchy Marak, Superior of WDC, encouraged the students to continue their studies with determination and confidence. Mrs. Regina B. Sereng, Program Manager, WDC, motivated the students to pursue higher education and wished them success in their future endeavors.
As a token of appreciation, each student was presented with a certificate and a file. The programme successfully inspired and motivated the students to set higher goals and continue their educational journey with confidence. The event concluded with refreshments and heartfelt best wishes for all participants.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
