Medical Health Camp

On 19th May 2026, the Women Development Centre (WDC), in collaboration with the Mini Primary Health Centre, Kharguli, organized a Medical Health Camp at Uzanbazar. The camp provided basic health check-ups, medical consultations, and health awareness on hygiene, nutrition, sanitation, and preventive healthcare.
A team of medical professionals conducted health screenings and offered necessary medical advice and medicines. A total of 70 beneficiaries from Uzanbazar and Arikati Basti benefited from the programme. The camp successfully promoted health awareness, improved access to primary healthcare services, and encouraged community members to adopt healthy practices.
The initiative effectively provided essential health check-ups, consultations, and awareness to beneficiaries from Uzanbazar and Arikati Basti. The camp played an important role in improving access to primary healthcare services and promoting hygienic and healthy living practices among the community members.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
