Meri Saheli Program

Women Development Centre in collaboration with Railway Protection Force conducted Meri Saheli program at Guwahati Railway Station, displaying Street Play in 3 different platforms on 15th Oct 2025. The purpose of the play was to create awareness among masses on Toll Free Safety & Security Helpline number 139, for female passenger travelling alone in the train.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
