Street Play

Women Development Centre in collaboration with District Legal Service Authority, Kamrup Metro organized Street Play on 17 September 2025. It was based on the theme Child Labour and Child Marriage, in three hotspot locations – Guwahati Railway Station, Fancy Bazar and Uzanbazar. The main purpose was to create awareness among the masses against Child Marriage and Child Labour.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
