Visit to Zubeen Ketra

On 24th October 2025, Women Development Centre (WDC) held prayer service at "Zubeen Khetra" Hatimura, Sonapur. The staff along with NIOS students prayed for repose of the departed soul of the singer and paid tribute with lighting of earthen lamps and gamosa was held in a peaceful and solemn atmosphere.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
