WDC Welcomes the New Scholastic Year 2026–27 with Joy and Hope
Women Development Centre warmly welcomed the new scholastic year 2026–27 with joy, enthusiasm, and renewed hope. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mrs. Jyotika Choudhary, a renowned singer and dedicated social worker, who joined the students in celebrating the beginning of a new academic journey.
The programme commenced with a prayer and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings. This was followed by a warm welcome to all the students as they embarked on another year of learning and growth.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Jyotika Choudhary inspired the students with her encouraging words, emphasizing the importance of hard work, discipline, perseverance, and determination in achieving their goals. Her motivating message encouraged the students to believe in themselves, make the most of their educational opportunities, and strive towards a brighter future.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
