Women’s Day Celebration

Women Development Centre, in collaboration with the Bimolapur Parish, organized a celebration of International Women's Day on 8th March 2026 at Bimolapur in Charaideo District, on the theme “#GivetoGain.” The program aimed to create awareness about gender equality, women’s rights, and the empowerment of women in various spheres of life, including education, employment, leadership, and social development. The celebration also emphasized the importance of promoting dignity, respect, and equal opportunities for women in society. More than 600 women participants witnessed the celebration.
Women Development Centre (WDC) is a development centre for the people in North East India for many years. The sisters felt the need to bring structural change to the present way of living especially of the women and tribals.
